Dreams are not built with comfort — they are stitched with failure, patience, and courage.”

Exactly a year ago, on 8th August 2024, Parthi took her first breath. She wasn’t just registered as a company, but born as a dream — woven with courage, sleepless nights, and countless unstructured thoughts. Back then, business was only a way to utilise the extra hours after my office work. We wanted to create something meaningful, something bigger than myself. But the questions of how and what always stood like tall walls before us.

And then, life introduced me to a person who helped me sketch a clearer path — a path where my scattered thoughts turned into direction, and my confusion turned into courage. From that day onward, Parthi was no longer just an idea; she became a journey of hope, resilience, and endless possibilities. Today, as we look back, we see not just the struggles, but the strength that was born through them. Every small failure stitched me stronger, every waiting taught me patience, and every challenge reminded me of my courage.

The most interesting and funny part was, our very first customer: my mother. She bought a saree for my elder sister. That moment was more than just a sale; it was like my dream getting its first blessing from home. Although, we thought business or it can be selling a product would be easy just like inviting guest to a birthday party, tell relatives, friends and they will buy and appreciate. But reality was far different from my thought. Even people who had known me since childhood, took almost 1 year to make purchase from Parthi. This helps us to understand: Selling is not about forcing, its all about earning trust and building relationship”

We still remember August 2024, when we touched sales of ₹39,950. We were able to sell 27 products in a month of August. It felt like the first tiny spark of a big dream.

The very next month, September, came like a festival, marking our highest sales count (41) of that year. We believed the graph would only move upward. But then October, November and December also arrived with losses that tested us in every way possible. It was painful, yes — but instead of breaking me, it taught me resilience, patience, and the art of holding faith when nothing seems certain.

And then came January 2025 — like a sunrise after a long night — when Parthi touched her highest-ever sales of ₹1,07,259. That moment wasn’t just about money; it was about courage being rewarded, and a reminder that storms always pass.

In just one year, our Parthi family has grown to embrace 205 customers, with 532 items finding their homes, and a total revenue of ₹6,58,996 painting the milestones of our journey.

But these numbers are not mere figures. They are memories, struggles, and lessons stitched into the fabric of Parthi. the below figure can showcase the growth of our company in an one graph.

This journey was never mine alone; it was walked hand in hand with people who believed in Parthi even before she found her wings. We began humbly with school sales, where kind-hearted teachers like Nasima Shirin, Lipi Banik, Pratima Chowdhury, Sharmistha Dey Roy, Bidisha Basu did more than just purchase a saree — they gifted us trust, encouragement, warmth, and the confidence to keep moving forward. Their belief in me became the first bricks of Parthi’s foundation. They just not only gave use opportunity they set free our wings to fly high. They introduced us with more people and gave us opportunity to learn a face new thing in life through this journey. Our beloved customers of our society also took participation to hike the valuation of the company that are mentioned above graph. Pratima Mondal, Rani Choudhury, Madhumita Mondal, Swapna Bose, Shukla Biswas, Rupa Deb, Dipanwita Paul, Mukti Chanda, Barnali Sen, Rinku Deb, Pratibha Saha and Pratyusha Ghosh Mallick all are special one who did not leave our hands.

A housing complex welcomed us for an exhibition; it was our first break through in the sales journey. We still remember we were ready for that exhibition with 2 suitcases and now it turned into 8.  We are also able to add our assets like printer, mannequin, clothing rack and so on. That exhibition at Pushpakalaya was a beautiful memory as strangers walking past our stall slowly turned into smiles, conversations, and new bonds of friendship. Those moments reminded me that Parthi was never just about clothing; it was about connecting hearts.

And how can we ever forget Mitali Banerjee — a soul so beloved, who stood beside us from the very first day. Her unwavering support was like a guiding light in the darker hours, proving that behind every dreamer stands a pillar of strength.

In this 1 year, we not only came across or familiar with the sales strategy it also help us to bloom my public handling courage and understand the emotional quotient of people around me. It remain us lot of arguments, tears and heavy feelings but Parthi, for us, is not just a business. It’s a warrior spirit, a stubborn dream, and proof that courage has a louder voice than fear. From that first saree to hundreds now draped with trust, every step has been a reminder that even fragile threads can weave an unbreakable story.

And this is just the beginning. If one year could gift us so much, we can only imagine how many more warriors will join the Parthi family in the years ahead.

Because some dreams are not meant to fade — they are stitched to last forever.
